The Sun Garden Collection

Twenty Cyanotypes made at the peak of the Solstice sun, each one is hand finished with gold.

These flowers represent the beauty and the power of the Sun.

I began this collection just before the Summer solstice. The light was intense but also powerful and energising.

I imagine, because of the way these pieces were created, that each one absorbed some of the power from the sunlight which brought them into existence. I can't help but think that they release a little of that back to us when we view them.

Each piece is printed on archival paper and finished by hand with 24K gold leaf, a small, deliberate act that mirrors the light held within the print itself. Signed and one of a kind, these are pieces made to be lived with.
